Eyes on Main Street

A trip to Wilson, NC today to see a project of large dimension, encompassing 100 huge street photographs taken around the world by (mostly living) photographers.  The pictures were hung in the shop windows on Nash Street, the main street of the old downtown in this somewhat depressed area.  Accompanying these pictures is a brief exhibit of 100 pictures taken by local children, printed and hung in a storefront centrally located on Nash Street.

The students were loaned cameras by Canon and they spent two days shooting portraits and scenes in their community.
