Little Speckled Lamb

Mountain biking event near Sutton Bank today. Not at my best and decided after the first hour to just relax and enjoy the fine views from the escarpment. The trails are still suffering from the wet winter and recent rainfall so the going was tough unless on prepared tracks.

The start and finish was based at a farm with a rather steep climb back up at the end. This lamb was enjoying basking in the sunshine. April may seem later but the lambs on the moors tend to be born much later than their lowland counterparts.
