Girl with a silver earring

I watched Girl with A Pearl Earring this evening, first time since I saw it in the cinema several years ago. I'd forgotten some details, but my general impression of a deeply intense, sensual film still obtains.

I don't possess any pearls, earrings or otherwise. So here's a silver one. And not in my ear.
