Natural

We always say that our village, like so many villages around here, looks as if it just grew up out of the ground beneath it.  Maybe it's the stone and wood, maybe it's the roof tiles that look as if they were just grabbed as red earth from the land and slapped onto the roofs to dry.  In reality, it was all probably brought in by horse and cart when these buildings were made in the mid 19th century, but they do look as if they were just planted and grew naturally.  We spent most of the day working in the garden and, as it was 20 degrees in the sun when we had finished, it was only natural to sit and have a glass of rosé and just chill for a while.
