Magnificent Magnolia

After a morning at the yard we spent part of the afternoon at Ellerker House. It opened its garden gate in aid of charity as part of the National Gardens Scheme.  The above was taken with Mrs A S's hand to give some scale to the size of the magnificent Magnolia blooms that covered one tree. I have add one of the lakeside and a poster at the entry woodland walk that made me smile! Rounded of the day with a beef roast ;¬)
