California to Falkland

We decided today was a good day for a long run - bright, not much wind, cool - and so after church and lunch we headed off to Strathmiglo.
Starting from California (see extra) Mr Rat did nearly 13 miles over West Lomond and Bishop Hill to Falkland, I did a less ambitious and did about 10 1/2 to the edge of Falkland, a loop in the woods (and got slightly misplaced so was glad I'd taken a map) and then back to the start to collect the car and drive to Falkland. It was still well over 1,000ft of climbing I believe.
There were primroses and daffodils lining the route, woodpeckers pecking and birds singing and I saw 2 deer (or possibly the same one twice) though no red squirrels on the Red Squirrel Trail.
The photo is taken with the phone on the final descent back to Strathmiglo and I thought the framing made up for the not so good quality.
The other extra is Falkland House School (these 2 were with the normal camera) made misty with the low sun.
