Soil not required!

I love this little plant, and was pleased to get a piece of it a few years ago. It is now well established on our terrace, peeping through the cracks and providing tiny purple flowers in summer. 

What a wet Saturday! A quick trip into town turned into quite an adventure going through roadworks in the pouring rain, with the white steam of newly laid tar making it impossible to see anything, let alone the car in front!!
Other outdoor plans had to be abandoned in the afternoon.....
But the ironing basket is almost empty :(
