One of those disjointed airport days.  They're not fun during the week but even less fun at a weekend.  Hubby en route to the UK for a week of meetings again.  Up super early to catch his flight to Seattle, the flight from there to Heathrow delayed 3 hours (because of a delay out of LHR).  

Sun arrived quite late today too, much cooler than the last few days.

Last week we watched the HBO documentary Robert Mapplethorpe: Look At The Pictures (2016), about his life and photography.  It was interesting to learn that he'd dismissed and disliked photography at art school, thought it was a lesser art form.  He began using other people's photographs then moved on to taking Polaroids because he could manipulate and take them apart to incorporate them into other work.  

I recommend it, the interviews with those who knew Mapplethorpe are fascinating and often quite funny.  A more in depth review.

I have a bunch of other movies to write about but still haven't found the time.
