I love when novels give a little intermission. You know, if you were craving a toasted tomato sandwich with a dash of salt and pepper with mayo (not miracle whip), and a fresh cupper, now is the time. Now is the time.
Its most considerate to the reader and the mark of a good author. IMO.
This fellow is John Steinbeck. Proves my point.
