New Begining X 14

This afternoon while continuing with the autumn tidy up in the garden, I found a guinea fowl nest well hidden under one of the dahlias. I must have walked past it many times over the last fortnight without noticing it.  Guinea fowl seem to prefer nesting in autumn when the weather is cooling down rather than in spring when it's warming up. If the eggs hatch it might be a chilly new beginning for the babies (keets).
