Empty nest syndrome.

LooseCanon looked a bit startled when I put my wellies on and told him I was going out in search of a New Beginning.
It's dull and dreary today , quite a mono sort of day really. I found a few good opportunities for the theme but they mostly didn't work in mono, for which I prefer quite simple bold shapes. I found an empty nest. I suspect it was built last year and after the chicks had left, the parent birds went off in search of new beginnings of their own.
