Gentrification.

This cup used to be my "catch all" for all sorts of little cables & chargers; some not of the highest grades, but cute, different, or even a couple sentimental for their past with me. Now there's limited room in this cup, so I'm now weeding out the less expensive ones. Soon, this cup will only hold the ones with the objectively highest value.
