Nerja

A day trip to Nerja, a pretty coastal town 50km along the coast from Malaga.
This is a view from 'The Balcony of Europe', a rocky promontory which is a focal point in the town.

The area is also famous for it's nearby Nerja Caves, discovered in 1959. A series of huge caverns stretching over 5km, they are one of Spain's major tourist attractions.
Hugely impressive, with many huge stalagmite & stalactites within, they also house Neanderthal paintings (unfortunately in areas not open to the public).
Photographs can't really do the caves justice, especially with flash photography prohibited, but I've included one as an Extra.
