Day 6.

Oh my goodness. The 0430 wake up call might have been courteous but defiantly not wanted. Alas this is not one to be running late. It's about keeping up. Today we fly to Shanghai - the last leg of our China adventure. It's going to be a long day. I'm not sure about Shanghai. But I'm sure we'll find something to look at.

Drive through the city to get to lunch. But as it was busy inside we went for a wander along the Bund & some local info about the area. Hard to believe the mess that is the busy shipping lane was once a beach for locals.
Another western version of Chinese food for lunch before making our way to the Museum.

Several floors of relics & pieces that make up China's past. A little disappointed many of the displayed items were not very old not used - but rather depictions of what they would wear. Much of the furniture was also unused. Scrolls of calligraphy & artwork, coins with BC dates & the equipment they used to make it.

A chance to stroll around the newer old section of town that is hip & place to be seen. We saw a sign for happy hour. Enough said.

Dinner (same same but different) washed down with a bottle of wine before heading to ERA the acrobatic show. Of course brilliant. A Cirque style show without the costumes & story telling.
