Pussy Willows

Cloudless blue skies and sunshine, but mighty chilly in the north wind. 

A trip to the vet for Ollie's booster resulted in a diagnosis of arthritis in his front legs and spine, and a prescription of tramadol to augment anti-inflammatory medication he is already taking.  The vet, Kate, was lovely with him and Ollie snuggled up to her while she was trying to manipulate his joints.  She also confirmed the lack of sight in his right eye!  Poor old beast!  He's 11 in June, so it looks as if it's all downhill from here!  

In the evening we were called round to our elderly neighbour who was very poorly with a kidney infection.  We waited with him until after midnight, when the doctor who came out to see him took him into hospital, in his car, because the one ambulance was busy elsewhere!  It's all go on the medical front just now!
