Fed up!

Thats what I am.   Yesterday was photoclub panels competition night.  I spent ages sorting out my images but when I came to print them, my print head was clogged so I had to withdraw from the competition.

I have spent all day today (and quite a time yesterday) trying to unblock my Epson R3000 printhead.   Despite using two different proprietary print head cleaners and following the instructions the problem is no better.

All I have achieved is a pair of dirty hands and a horrible ammonia smell in my office.

I rang a specialist for advice and they told me there was nothing else they could suggest.    I am soaking the print head in cleaner tonight but if that doesn't fix it I think it's going to be time for a new printer :-(

Apparently the Epson R3000 heads are really difficult to clean and a replacement head will cost as much as a new printer.

.... unless anyone out there can suggest a solution.
