Neutrinos

My neigbour, Jimmy Law, was a research colleague and friend of Arthur Macdonald, who together with Takaaki Kajita, was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2015 "for the discovery of neutrino oscillations, which shows that neutrinos have mass".  They and their wives invited this former physics major / teacher to join them for lunch.

Later in the evening at the Perimeter Institute, McDonald presented "a deeper understanding of the universe from 2 km underground" where Jimmy, Art and other colleagues had worked in a lab in an active nickel mine.

He also featured a clip from Canadian comedy show "this hour has 22 minutes"  Be sure to watch this...
