what umbrella?

A tropical afternoon thunderstorm.
It brought back memories of this when I was a kid. 
It was a daily occurrence. They called it Convention Rain" and it occurred lesser and lesser as the town matured/progressed with buildings and doing away with plantations and trees.

This blip: Notice this worker using a sheet of ply as a shelter from the heavy rain.
Timed it well to coincide with the light bulb on the fence/gate beyond.
 How funny?
