Outgrowing their space....

The chickens have REALLY grown over the holiday and their outside run is almost ready for them. 

They are like meerkats when anyone goes to see them! Stand still! Heads up! 

The cockerel is still in his white plumage but is sporting the beginnings of a very smart comb. Chauvinistic? I hope not! 

Nice to have the children back today, and the majority seem happy to be here. And it really is great to be able to use the beautiful grounds on a regular basis at break times. Everyone is enjoying the extra space.... and football is allowed again!
