On the Tube

Working in London today. More training for bank employees going into schools. This time we were working with 16-18 year old students all of whom have English as a second language and they are so keen to learn.

I went through Arnos Grove station. Opened in 1932, the main ticket office was extended in 1940 by architect Charles Holden who was inspired by Swedish architecture, lots of brick and glass in a circular building with a flat roof. (I will insert a link later!). It's a building I have always liked. Bounds Green Station is a similar design
