Turkey vulture

We had a dead possum on the road this morning and I thought it wouldn't be long before the clean up crew arrived. Sure enough they did. Only two of them and when I tried to get close they left the possum, one going on the fence and the other way up in the sky somewhere. So here is the fence sitter waiting to get back to its lunch.

We woke to a misty morning today and in the extra is a shot of the cattle in the neighbor's field.

We are now down 3.5 inches of rain for this year.
