Birthday Walk ...

Today is my birthday & booked the day off, I decided to visit The Stiperstones & I had a wonderful morning with stunning Shropshire views.

I called to see Mum & Dad on the way home for a sandwich & we spent a lovely hour or so chatting away :-)

Mum's family were involved of with the making of the 1950 film "Gone to Earth" and I have included an extra shot from Lordshill where Mum lived when she grew up & parts of the film were shot.

The family of 9 lived in the little house on the side of the Chapel with no electricity, it is quite sad to see the deterioration that has occurred over the years.
