Exchanging experiences

We went out to the Society Rooms in Maidstone this evening with friends Chris and Wendy. First time we've seen them for a while. We've been away, but they've also been away on a trip of a lifetime so it was the opportunity to learn about each other's trips.

They'd been away for a month, visiting Hong Kong, New Zealand, Australia and Singapore. It's given them the travel bug and they're now up for more. As usual we had a very good and filling curry to aid the conversation.

Other than that most of the day was spent catching up with the long list of tasks that accumulated over the past three weeks or so. Mainly buying symathy cards or "thinking of you" cards as there seems to be a rash of people passing away or being seriously ill in the past few weeks.
