Thursday: Les Belgiques

Tonight it was Belgian National Day reception.  I love the little national touches they have at these receptions - I spent half the evening chasing the waiter round the garden for a Belgian beer.  

And I love the way, Rob, the American Naval Attache always calls me 'Ma'am'!  

Kuifje and the lovely M have departed on their driving trip today.  They don't have a Sat Nav - I will confess I am a little concerned as to whether we will ever see them again.

This is a view of Zagreb from the Belgian Ambassador's residence - I'll show you again in winter when there will probably be deep snow!
