Waste Lots, Want Some

On our daily morning walk, we always come across an area that is freakishly overwatered. This poor pine is going to be drowned before much longer. Corra however loves it and goes for a little dip each morning. She usually lays down fully and stretches out in it and even rolls in it on occasion. She knows how to beat the heat! Loki and I usually tiptoe around it, since the grass is barely above the water - but lately on really hot days, even Loki trots through it to cool off a little ;)

Still feeling bummed about yesterday's events ... Most people are taking Friday off, I am considering a half-day. It really takes the wind out of your sails. sigh. Hope you are all having a better day than me! And at least it is nearly Saturday :) The worst feeling is waking up, believing it is Friday and then realizing you are totally wrong and it isn't -___- At least I won't be wrong tomorrow.
