Birthday girl
B reached an age today that she would probably prefer I whisper rather than shout about.
That did not stop us from taking a day off work to celebrate (albeit quietly given recent difficulties) and taking advantage of the first really Spring-like day to walk along the Thames; stopping off for brunch near London Bridge, visiting the Design Museum and then walking all the way to Canada Water via a couple of watering holes.
The day was tough for B in places, but we talked about her Dad and Gran as we walked and finished off the day in style with her daughter and partner at a brilliant Italian restaurant in Richmond. There is no menu, they just bring you whatever the chef fancies cooking, including parading a whole suckling pig to great applause around the restaurant as the finale.
As you know B is rather camera-shy and does not grace these pages, but I have snook her in extras - don't say anything.
