Paper towels

Whether train or plane or conference venue the problem with paper towels persists. You can never get a single towel out of the dispenser - it's either empty or overfull. And then when you try to dispose of the towel, the flap is just a little too springy - and so used towels accumulate on the flap rather than in the bin. Can it really be that hard?

This afternoon I ran a workshop entitled "Shameless". It went surprisingly well, I think. When it was done I began the journey home via Stansted. And a troublesome conference call with Skype misbehaving.

At home all lights are off. Angus appears to be absent. Megan's door is shut, so she might be there - or might not. Claire is sleeping. I sit in front of the fire and polish off last weekend's bottle of red.
