Northton

We're visiting friends in the far north west this weekend. I took my blip while out walking near the croft where Bella and David live on the Isle of Harris. As you can see, the views here are amazing.

Just before I took this shot we found a tiny baby lamb that had fallen into a rabbit hole. It was lucky that Mr hazelh heard its cry and spotted its lone mother sheep circling around looking distressed. We immediately set to work pulling up the turf at the top of the rabbit hole so that Bella could get her hands inside it to grab the lamb. The poor creature looked rather stunned to be back in the light, but also very happy to find its mother again.

After our walk Bella, Mr hazel and I drove up to the Skoon Art Café for a wonderful bowl of soup for lunch, then it was back to the house to introduce Bella to Catan. Three games later(!) she is hooked too :-)

The evening ended with a wonderful meal at the Anchorage in Leverburgh.

Exercise today: walking (11,364 steps).
