Little Friend

I found this little chaffinch in the house having flown in through an open window.  I don't think he had been there for long and it was easy to catch him.  He remained calmly in my hand until a photograph had been taken before letting him go.

Two calves have been born in the last 24 hours to Hereford mums, one very large and one very small and both of them had to be tube fed.  The larger calf is now sucking the cow but the fate of the other is in the lap of the gods.
