The Penthouse Suite!!

After a grey, miserable start to the day, the clouds cleared and gave way to a sunny afternoon… Today’s entertainment has been provided by this Wood Pigeon, who has been busy collecting twigs, and depositing them on top of one of the conifer trees at the bottom of the garden.  Judging by the amount of cooing going on, he’s got a lady friend secreted inside the tree, and the courting couple are building a nest. After dropping off his latest load, he would wiggle his way down through the tree and then appear through this lower doorway to his Penthouse Suite, before setting off on another circuit!!
