Incinerator

Most of us had one of these in our back garden, some years ago. They are now relics having been banned under local laws.

They cannot be used unless you have received permission from your local council to burn in a properly constructed incinerator.

When using an incinerator, you must have:
A four-metre cleared space around and above the fire.
A responsible person must be in attendance at all times with water or an extinguisher.
All incinerator doors and openings should be closed and screens and guards in place.
You must not upset your neighbours in any way with smoke.

This simply means that the day is long over for using home garden incinerators. The box next to the incinerator had been used to carry plants into the garden and was not going to be put in the incinerator. I should have moved it before taking the photo!
