Underrated flower

I love it when the Field Wood-rush starts to flower and gives a lovely rich ochre-brown haze to unimproved fields. Many people don't think of grasses, sedges and rushes as flowers, but it really pays off to get down on hands and knees to experience their subtle flowers. If they were just a bit bigger, many would be sold to trendy gardeners for a fortune!
