Ancient tree avenue in Bulimba, Brisbane

I was walking up Oxford Street, Bulimba today on the way to choir and was struck by the stark contrast between light and shadow on this avenue of ancient gnarled trees lining the Bulimba Park. Sometimes they are festooned with climbing children; today it was the intensity of contrast that made me stop and look. I think they are White Figs (Ficus virens) though I'd like the opinion of those more knowledgeable than me.
