A Better Name...

...would be Lifesaver. This helmet saved my life on one botched paragliding launch. I was falling in a supine position, and my helmet-encased head struck rocks at least two times. You can see the mark of one impact in the main photo, and another in the extra.

I was doing a bit of sorting this afternoon and decided it was time to get rid of this. It was a very comfortable helmet, but donning it sometimes induced mild claustrophobia -- fortunately it was only temporary!

It was hard to let it go.
