Back to Auckland

I drove to Taupo and had lunch with a friend and then went to visit Huka Falls. I had planned on staying at least one more night in the camper van before returning to Auckland but I soon realised that I didn't particularly enjoy life on the road in the North Island, especially after four weeks in the south. Everything is busier, more crowded and less peaceful in the north. I also wanted to spend more time with my family before leaving the country, so I drove all the way to Auckland.

I got back in time for dinner. It was so great to see everyone again. I brought back a selection of wine and chocolates for them. We devoured the chocolates in one sitting!
