Scenic Railway

I'm almost too tired to post a blip tonight.
I used to wonder why people found grandparenting tiring. Now I know.
Not that they have been difficult. Quite the contrary. They have been remarkably well behaved, but so full on.

We took them to Scenic World today. It's the premier (man made) tourist attraction in the mountains and very well done.

We went down the railway (the steepest in the world), walked along the trail to the cable car to go back up, took the Skyway across the valley and back and then went home for lunch and a "rest" (didn't happen).
They really loved the train and wanted another go so we returned about 3pm (you get an all day ticket) and went down the cableway, along the "Sculpture Walk" ( a current exhibition - don't ask what we thought, I don't like to be negative on Blip but even Elizabeth questioned why they would spend money on the materials to produce "that" - not that much was spent, it was nearly all junk), back up the railway and then Mr isbi took Elizabeth and Hugh down and up the railway again but I stayed up top with Adelaide who had pronounced it "too scary".
She entertained herself by checking out everything in the gift shop.

So now you know why I'm tired :-)

Thanks BobsBlips for starting up Wide Angle Wednesday again.
This was taken with the 9mm lens, and Elizabeth's eyes are also pretty wide.
