Steller's Jay Ready To Take-off

I got together with a good friend for lunch at the Rock Creek Tavern not far from our house.  It's a beautiful spot just outside the urban growth boundary, so it's "farming country"....lots of wide open fields and quaint little spots such as this tavern.  We sat outside...the weather beckoned us to enjoy it.  I caught sight of this Steller's Jay up on the roof right before he took off.
