There was an unfortunate amount of building-stuff at the same height as the top of the wall at the bottom of the construction so it had to be done at a silly angle. Definitely worth popping back to with the proper tripod later on, though. Might even be usable for the work photo-competition to avoid the usual Sunday-evening-deadline make-something-up. Someone on the intranet the other day made mention of the "pictures only entered to get the points" (two points are awarded to all unplaced entries) and it would be fascinating to know which ones he meant, not that he'd probably ever publicly announce this.

Another day in which I completely failed to go to a camera shop to have a go of a lens, partly due to it being not-buy-things day and partly because I don't do asking to try things out in shops particularly well and partly because I'd then need to start making moves towards selling more things. It wouldn't be such a pain if I was merely expanding but when indirectly replacing the need to offload the old is greater to avoid having something sitting about not being used.
