i find it intriguing how many blippers were reluctant to be 'seen' to wish the Queen a happy 90th birthday....but what a trouper she is.
it's only in my dotage that i've come to realise how hard she works and what sacrifices she's made to serve our country.  the trappings are hardly equal to the peace of a life quietly lived.
