Canal Closed

Canal Closed and Towpath Closed.
This is the Rochdale Canal at Springside, between Todmorden and Hebden Bridge.  There was a major landslip down into the canal during the Boxing Day floods as can be seen here.  Just a little further up - towards Todmorden - the canal breached the towpath and flooded into the River Calder.  I will be very surprised if this canal re-opens this year :-(
