The King is Dead.......

I am absolutely gutted. Did not want to believe what I was reading. Can still recall the 1st time I was aware of the genius that is Prince. It was 1985 and his single When Doves Cry was played on a show called Entertainment USA. From note one  I was hooked.  I saw him live twice and am grateful for that. Can still remember the excitement in the pit of my stomach as Prince took to the stage to the opening bars of "Thunder" on the Diamonds & Pearls concert. Prince your music will live on because Nothing Compares 2 U.
