Strawberry Patch

I've been out in the sun for most of today. Golf this morning then down at the allotment all afternoon. I finished digging over the two main veggie beds although the second one still needs a lot of work to get rid of half a ton of crouch grass - I hate that stuff. Along the way I kept finding wee strawberry plants that had appeared (courtesy of the birds I guess) so I've made a nursery bed for them in an unused bag of compost. A lot of the plants in the existing strawberry beds are a bit past it and not producing much fruit so with luck this lot can replace some of them.
Hope my back doesn't seize up tonight!!
