Strichen Lake

Today was bright and sunny, with a cold wind. I had a meeting in Strichen at the Lodge at lunchtime  so took the opportunity to  get there early and have a wee walk round the lake, which was looking fabulous in the Spring sunshine. It was so good to see the park being well used and the new picnic benches in place in anticipation of the warmer months. I also met one of the committed volunteers with trusty saw in hand, off to do some tidying up as he does almost every day! We are fortunate here in Buchan to have so many community members like him.
