The sea has departed

A different view of St Peter Port's visitors marina, "sans mer"!
Interesting to see the only thing holding in the water to keep all those boats afloat.
I love the really big tides we get in CI, as it changes the whole character of the seashore in a very few hours.
Even the contours of a sandy beach can change in those few hours.
Not so much fun if you are sat on a rock contemplating life when the tide comes in!!
