Seven-Five-Three Fesival

In Japan there is a custom of dressing up boys aged three or five and girls aged three or seven and taking them to a local Shinto shirine for a blessing on November 15th.

Before going to shrine, in spring so many children are taken to a photo studio and taken pictures in advance for memory.

If you are in Japan in mid November, you can see formal dressed children in a shrine, it is a heart-warming scene.

This Seven-Five-Three festival is one of the charms of autumn in Japan. We hope children's  happiness from the bottom of our heart.
