A Car full of Compost

We took a drive out across the border into Lancashire today.  Luckily we weren't spotted by border guards and were able to get back again undetected.  We had our annual visit to a farm in Littleborough which specialises in organic compost, 'Moorland Gold' which is recovered through natural water filtration and very good for vegetables!  The journey takes us up Cragg Vale and there were several cyclists in both directions trying to set a personal record time on the incline/descent.  Last time we journeyed that way it was a miserable day but today we had great views across the Moor and then across Littleborough at the farm.  My blip is taken at the top of Cragg Vale looking across Blackstone Edge Reservoir.  I like the pylons marching away into the distance.

Back home Tony has been busy in the allotment and I've been busy in the garden.  Looking at the weather forecast it may be a while before we are able to get out there again!
