The Master and his Apprentice

Bob has worked the allotment at the back of us all the time that we have been there, but is now on the point of retiring. The time has come for him to pass on all his skills and knowledge to his chosen successor, Steve. (In fact, I think Steve was chosen by the committee.) I wonder if he will pass on his sense of humour, honed from years of working in Fords and supporting Everton.
