Arch + cross

This arch stands outside the Municipal Buildings in Dumbarton.

One of the tower arches from St Mary's Collegiate Church, which was founded in 1450, it's the sole remnant of the building whose original site was where Dumbarton Central railway station now stands.

The adjacent cross is a memorial to those in the Burgh of Dumbarton who lost their lives in the Second Boer War [South Africa, 1899-1902].
