Shambellie revisited

Back to the exhibition, this time with Joe and my parents.
It's a different experience to see it though the eyes of a visitor. I continue to be entranced by the house. Some buildings feel good to be in and this is one of them - the size and shape of the rooms and the light in the rooms and the views from the windows, the wooden shutters and the marble fireplaces and the big wooden staircase - all these lend a lovely ambience to Shambellie House.
Of course the photography is impressive as well :-)
We had lunch in New Abbey and then went to visit our friends Dorothy and Ken.
Another sunny day...
