An Afternoon Frittered

We have had intermittent light showers today, so I have watched and waited for them to stop so I could try to get a bee on one of the flowers.  There were a few bumble bees on the huge white azalea that is currently covered in blossoms, but they were not cooperative.  For some reason, they didn’t go into the flowers but instead hung on the backs of them so I would have to wait for them to crawl up to the edge.  More often than not, they would just fly to next back side of the flower.  It was very much hit or miss.  This was cropped in-camera with the digital zoom, so the fur coat isn’t as fuzzy looking as I would like, but the flower isn’t bad and after all it is Flower Friday.

Cheers to the weekend…
